BioMy real name is Nancy and I came to LiveJournal from following Smallville spoilers on Television Without Pity and Kryptonsite. I usually post on message boards as Sue Denim (pronounced as pseudonym). I am registered at a few places under excelaunt or Qfanny. At times I write fan fiction and that's what you'll mostly find here. That, and me bitching about work. I'm employed at a dental insurance carrier and I do various things in the administration department.
I'm a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in Broadcast Journalism. The funny thing about this is that I hate reporting and being in front of a camera, but I LOVED working behind the scenes writing scripts and technical directing. For this reason, I will always have a love/hate relationship with the entertainment industry.
I gravitate towards shows involving magic, powers, aliens, time travel and the 1800s. I have no idea why this appeals to me. Perhaps it's because the presence of these elements allows for logic to be suspended and opens possibilities in story telling that aren't possible under normal pretenses.
